This page will guide you through everything you need to do to get fully prepared before our first live class. Let's get you set up for success!

STEP # 01

Get Ready for Your Live 1-on-1 Classes

Your PTE preparation includes live, interactive sessions with me.

  • Class Duration: Each live class is 1 hour long.
  • Class Schedule: Your specific class days and times were confirmed when you enrolled.
  • Joining the Class:
    • I will share a Zoom class link via WhatsApp approximately 5 minutes before each scheduled class.
    • Please be ready with your computer and a stable internet connection at least 10 minutes before your class starts.
    • Click the Zoom link shared on WhatsApp to join.

💡 Pro Tip: Use WhatsApp on Your Computer!

    • For smoother communication, quick feedback, and easy sharing, use WhatsApp on your computer.
    • Go to web.whatsapp.com on your browser (like Google Chrome) and link your mobile WhatsApp. You can also download the desktop application.

STEP # 02

Access to Learning Portal – learn.pteschool.com

This is where all your core learning materials reside!

    • IMPORTANT: Your main learning resources are on learn.pteschool.com. Please do NOT try to log in via the main website pteschool.com 
    • Your Account:
      • You don’t need to create an account; I have already created one for you!
      • Email Id: Your Email ID
      • Password: Your Email ID (It’s a temporary password. You can change this later if you wish)

  • How to Log In:
    1. Go to learn.pteschool.com.
    2. Click the “Login” button. (Top right corner)
    3. Enter your Email ID for both the username and password.

 

  • What You’ll Find Inside learn.pteschool.com:
    • Predicted Exam Questions: Monthly updated questions that have a high chance of appearing (e.g., “Prediction Questions May 2025”).
    • Recorded Lectures (Full Course): All topics are recorded so you can watch them anytime. This is great for pre-learning before live classes or for revision.
    • Grammar Lessons: Essential videos for PTE Academic writing, listening, and reading.
    • Common Mistakes in PTE Videos: Learn what pitfalls to avoid in the PTE Academic exam.

STEP # 03

Set Up Your Practice Portal – apeuni.com

While learn.pteschool.com is for learning materials, apeuni.com is where you’ll do your practice exercises and mock tests.

    • Important Note: I do not provide access to the practice portal. You will need to create and manage your own apeuni.com account.
    • Why ApeUni? It’s a platform many students find useful, and it allows you to link your account with mine so I can check your work and provide feedback. However, please remember their AI scoring is a guide (about 5-10% logical and 80-90% based on their algorithms). We will focus on self-evaluation techniques and my manual feedback.
    • Your Steps for apeuni.com:
      1. Go to apeuni.com and create your account.
      2. Once your account is created, you’ll see an option like “Upgrade VIP.” Click on it.
      3. Choose a subscription plan. For most students, the 30-day plan (around AUD $25 – price may vary) is sufficient. If you prefer more time, a 90-day plan (around AUD $50 – price may vary) is also available. This is your choice.
      4. After upgrading to VIP, link your account to mine (must be using computer, not mobile phone/tablet):
        • Find the “Teacher Mode” option (usually at the top).
        • Click on “I am a student.”
        • You will be asked for a UUID code.
        • My UUID code is 974911ea4f

    • Practice individual PTE tasks (Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, etc.).
    • Take Section-wise Mock Tests (Speaking Mock Test, Writing Mock Test, etc.).
    • Take Full Mock Tests.

💡 Important Note: The most important questions to consider while using the apeuni.com portal for your speaking, writing, reading, and listening tasks are related to your ultimate goals.

I need access to monitor your progress in individual task and full-length tests. It’s essential to understand that your focus should not be solely on the scores from the portal but on how my teaching methods influence your learning.

Think of this as a whiteboard for practice, where I, as your trainer, will review your performance to identify mistakes and highlight areas for improvement.

STEP # 04

Understand Course Structure & Learning Path

We have a structured approach to cover all modules effectively.

  • Typical Order of Modules in Live Classes:
    1. Speaking: (Usually 2-3 classes)
    2. Listening: (Usually 1-2 classes)
    3. Writing: (Usually 1- 2 classes)
    4. Reading: (Usually 1- 2 classes)
    • (The number of classes per module can adjust based on student performance and needs.)
  • Maximize Your Learning – Use Recorded Lectures!
    • You can get ahead or reinforce your learning by watching the Recorded Lectures on learn.pteschool.com before our live classes
    • For example, while we are covering Speaking in live classes, you could start watching the Writing module videos from the recorded lectures.
    • You can ask questions from the recorded content during our live sessions or via WhatsApp.

STEP # 05

How We Communicate & Support – Feedback Loop

Your success is my priority, and consistent feedback is key!

  • Primary Communication: WhatsApp (especially on your computer for ease).
  • Types of Feedback You’ll Receive (apart from live classes):
    1. Audio Feedback: Send me your queries or practice recordings on WhatsApp. I’ll listen and send back an audio message with guidance.
    2. Video Feedback: For more complex issues, I’ll record a short screen-capture video demonstrating the solution or concept and send you the link.
    3. 1-on-1 Zoom Consultation: If you’re really stuck, we can schedule a quick 10-15 minute Zoom call to clarify things. This is in addition to your scheduled classes.

Unlimited Feedback: Within your course duration (e.g., 2 weeks for a 6-class package, 4 weeks for a 10-class package), you can ask for feedback as much as you need. Even if you’re practicing late at night, send your question, and I’ll respond when I’m available.
